'Fantastic header' - Former Manchester United star lauds Iheanacho for brilliant strike
Published: April 03, 2022In the final game of the Premier League Saturday, Leicester City and Manchester United shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.
In a move started by Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Kelechi Iheanacho headed in a brilliant cross from James Maddison to give Leicester City a deserved lead after 62 minutes.
It was his fourth career goal against the Red Devils with one coming in the colours of Manchester City and three for Leicester City.
Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves praised the Nigeria international for his fantastic goal, adding that the Foxes deserved to take the lead.
In his post-match analysis, Hargreaves said on Premier League Productions : "He plays a lovely little ball into Maddison, hits it into that little pocket of space and it's a fantastic header from Iheanacho.
"And Leicester deserved that, they were the better team, they played really good stuff and United obviously didn't have that attacking threat.
"There was no Ronaldo, he was out with an illness, Bruno played as a false nine."

After Fred's equaliser in the 66th minute, James Maddison thought he had netted a late winner for Leicester after he was set up by Iheanacho but the goal was disallowed for a foul in the build-up.
