'Depends on which EPL club have this money to spend' - Di Marzio reveals Osimhen's valuation
Published: May 03, 2022Italian transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio has insisted that Victor Osimhen will cost at least 100 million euros (approximately N43.6 billion) amid speculation linking the Nigeria international with a transfer to the Premier League.
Manchester United, Arsenal and Newcastle United have been linked with a move for the striker who became the most expensive African-born player in history when he switched to Napoli in exchange for 70 million euros in 2020.
In order to recover the money they spent to sign Osimhen and make a profit, Napoli would want 100 million euros minimum if they are to part company with their number 9, according to Di Marzio.
The 2015 U17 World Cup winner is having a fantastic season at Napoli, scoring seventeen goals in 29 appearances.
Asked to comment on Newcastle United and Arsenal interest in Osimhen and if he thinks the Nigerian is leaving Napoli this summer, Di Marzio said to wettfreunde.net : "I don't think he will be sold for €80m because he was bought for €70m.
"So, I think that (Napoli owner Aurelio) De Laurentiis is very smart to buy and very difficult when he has to sell the players.
"I don't think he will let Osimhen go for less than €100m - minimum.
"So, it depends on which club in Premier League will have all this money to spend in the market only for one player."

Osimhen is under contract with Napoli until the end of the 2024-2025 season.
