Published: May 24, 2022Following the conclusion of the 2021-2022 season, West Brom have published their retained and released list.
Two young Nigerian defenders in the shape of Mark Chidi and Kevin Joshua will be leaving The Hawthorns when their contracts expire on June 30, 2022.
Chidi made twelve appearances for the Baggies in the U18 Premier League in the recently concluded season and was in action for 944 minutes.
The 18-year-old trained with Reading this month ahead of a possible move to the club.
Joshua, 20, spent the second half of the season on loan at League of Ireland First Division outfit Waterford and was at National League North side Kettering Town at the start of 2022.
The towering central defender joined West Brom in March 2021 following a successful trial.
Nigeria international Semi Ajayi recently inked a new deal with West Brom, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2024-2025 season.
