Published: May 25, 2022Maximillian Oyedele, who is eligible to represent the national teams of Nigeria, England and Poland, has been rewarded with a new deal by English Premier League giants Manchester United.
A Poland U18 international, Oyedele has signed his first professional contract with the Old Trafford outfit.
The defensive midfielder was a member of the Manchester United side that won the 2022 FA Youth Cup, coming off the bench for the last twenty six minutes in the showpiece against Nottingham Forest.
Oyedele was involved in every single game played by the Red Devils in the FA Youth Cup, and got his name in the scoresheet in a 4-2 win over Scunthorpe United U18 in the third round.
The Manchester-born starlet took to social media to confirm his new deal, positing on Instagram : "Happy to sign my first professional contract with @manchesterunited, the hard work continues!"
In the recently concluded academy season, the Anglo-Polish-Nigerian midfielder made his debuts in the FA Youth Cup, UEFA Youth League and Premier League 2.
And on the international stage, he made his first appearance for Poland youth team in a non-binding friendly against Switzerland U18s on March 23.
