Published: June 10, 2022Tottenham Hotspur's retained list published by the official website of the Premier League on Friday confirmed an exclusive story published by allnigeriasoccer.com 185 days ago that Nigerian central defender Tobi Omole was offered a new deal by the north London club.
However, Omole will be moving on to pastures new following the expiry of his contract at the end of this month after choosing not to extend his stay at the Lilywhites.
Signed from Arsenal in October 2020, the Hale End Academy product is departing Tottenham Hotspur without making his senior debut.
In his second season at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Omole was registered as a senior player in Tottenham's Premier League and Europa Conference League squads.
The 22-year-old was a non-playing substitute against Rennes and NS Mura in the Europa Conference League and was on the bench for the Premier League match versus Crystal Palace.
Overall, he made 37 appearances for Spurs in the Premier League 2 and was on target on two occasions.
2021 Super Eagles invitee Joshua Oluwayemi was also offered a new deal by Tottenham Hotspur but chose not to renew.
