The 3 players Super Eagles fans would love to see move to the Premier League in January

With the January transfer window few weeks away from now, there are a few Nigerian players expected to receive attention from Premier sides in England.

Allnigeriasoccer.com looks at the three Super Eagles players who might be considered by teams in the English top-flight next month.

1. Moses Simon (Nantes, France)

Nantes forward  Moses Simon was unarguably  Nigeria's best player at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

Unfortunately, the Eagles' run at the tournament ended in the round of 16 stages as Tunisia eliminated the three-time African champions.

That did not end Simon's good form at his Ligue 1 side where he has scored five league goals in 20 matches in the 2022/2023 season.

The all-action style of Simon, his goal scoring feat and versatility (he has played at right wing back position for Nigeria under Gernot Rohr) makes him a manager's delight.

The latter point raised above of his versatility is a big reminder of the days of Victor Moses whilst at Chelsea when current Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte was in charge of the Blues.

Victor Moses played as a right wing back under the Italian and was a success at Stamford Bridge.

2. Samuel Chukwueze (Villarreal, Spain)

Former Golden Eaglets star, Samuel Chukwueze is one of the most important players at La Liga side Villarreal.

With the arrival of his coach at Villarreal, Unai Emery at Aston Viola this season, there are already news making the rounds that Chukwueze could be a transfer target for the English Premier League side.

Chukwueze is an interesting player whose pace and trickery will be a fan's delight in the Premier League.

Expect to see more transfer updates linking Chukwueze to Aston Villa and other other Premier League sides like Arsenal who are in dire need of firepower upfront following the injury to striker Gabriel Jesus.

3. Zaidu Sanusi  (Porto, Portugal)

Zaidu Sanuai's fitness problems have been a great worry for the player and his coaches both at club an international level of late.

Before the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar which Nigeria failed to qualify anyway, Porto's Zaidu Sanusi was struggling with an injury setback but is expected to be back in action in the next few weeks.

The left back has performed well in the UEFA Champions League and now with some ambitious clubs in England like Newcastle United and Brighton & Hove threatening to break into the top echelons of the Premier League, an approach for Sanusi may not be overly be a shocking one on the January transfer window.
