Bayern, Monaco, Real Sociedad, Atalanta among clubs keeping tabs on Arsenal's Balogun
Published: March 15, 2023A plethora of European clubs are keeping tabs on Arsenal-owned striker Folarin Balogun ahead of the summer transfer window, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.
In addition, several clubs in the English Premier League are closely monitoring the performances of the England U21 international of Nigerian descent and could make a move for him if he continues with his impressive form in the business stage of the season.
Balogun has been in hot form since his move to France, registering 17 goals and two assists for Stade de Reims in 28 games.
And on the back of his fine performances, he is one of the most wanted young players in Europe right now, with Italian Serie A, Ligue 1, German Bundesliga and La Liga clubs interested in his signature.
Bayern Munich have placed the Hale End Academy product on their radar, while RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen are also following his progress.
Inter Milan, AC Milan and Atalanta are trying to lure Balogun to the Serie A; Marseille and Monaco are his French suitors, and he is on the wishlist of Real Sociedad and Villarreal in Spain.
Balogun will have to consider his future at parent club Arsenal if he is not guaranteed playing time by manager Mikel Arteta before the start of next season.
The 21-year-old's contract with the Emirates Stadium outfit runs out on June 30, 2025.
