Snapped: Osimhen reports for pre-season training at Napoli amid transfer links
Published: July 18, 2023Victor Osimhen has resumed pre-season training with Napoli amidst transfer links with Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Chelsea.
The Super Eagles forward was pictured in training on Tuesday as he joined his teammates in Dimaro Folgarida, Italy where they are having their pre-season activities at the moment.
The 24-year-old should have resumed last week but was given an extended holiday due to his involvement in Nigeria's Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Sierra Leone last month.
The name of the Nigerian striker has been frequently mentioned in transfer news with him being linked with Manchester United, Chelsea, PSG and Bayern Munich but his hefty price tag seems to be a stumbling block for any of the aforementioned clubs to negotiate with Napoli for his signature.
Besides the transfer links, his contract extension has also generated several discussions with the forward yet to agree terms with the Partenopei over a new deal.
With the resumption of the prolific striker, his future might get clearer soon.
As part of their preparations for the new Serie A season, Napoli have lined up friendly matches against Anaune and SPAL.
