With a statement on their official website, National League club Gateshead have announced the signing of released Derby County forward Owen Oseni.
Oseni has joined the fifth tier side on a two-year contract, until the end of the 2025-2026 season.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at National League North club Rushall Olympic, where he mustered eight goals and recorded one assist in fifteen outings in the division.
Oseni played briefly at Southern League Premier Division Central outfit, Nuneaton Borough to gain first team experience in the first half of last season.
He was acquired by the Rams in February 2023 after a spell at at League of Ireland First Division side Waterford FC, where he made four first team appearances without finding the back of the net.
In his final season at Derby County, he scored one goal in four appearances in the Premier League 2.
Oseni , Rob Elliot's first signing as permanent manager of Gateshead, was delighted to complete his move to The Tynesiders.
He told the club's official website: "I'm very pleased to be here - it's taken a while but I'm glad to do it now.
"When I spoke to Rob, he said they have been watching me for a while and his plans aligned with my plans, so it was a no brainer to come here.
"I spoke to Daj (Dajaune Brown) and asked him a few things about the club and he said very good things, he's told me everything I need to know.
"Now it's time for me to add my game and just push on".
