Super Eagles final training: Sadiq involved, Osho impresses, Osimhen no issues at all, set-piece drills

The Super Eagles have completed their preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Benin's Cheetahs in Abidjan, with their final training session held on Wednesday evening, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Nigeria's caretaker coach, Augustine Eguavoen, revealed that there were no injuries in the camp leading up to the match against the Republic of Benin.

This website can independently confirm that all twenty-three players called up for the November internationals are fit and available for selection, with everyone, including star striker Victor Osimhen, fully participating in the final training session.

The Galatasaray center forward has been spotted in training videos with a bandage strapped on his leg, fueling speculation that he was doubtful to take to the field against Benin.

However, allnigeriasoccer.com can report with certainty that Osimhen has no issues at all, considering the fact that he is always strapped up even on matchdays for club and country.

Real Sociedad striker Sadiq Umar trained for the first time with his international teammates on Wednesday, following his late arrival to camp.

One player who caught the eye in the national team's final training session was Auxerre central defender Gabriel Osho.

The former Reading youth team skipper certainly did not look out of the place as he integrated well with the boys even though it was only his second training session, proving that the Super Eagles is a big family.

As for the projected starting lineup for today's game, Augustine Eguavoen is keeping his cards close to his chest as there was no training match where Team A and Team B would have faced each other.

It was a scattered arrangement with the training focused on drills and set-pieces.
