Getafe ace Christantus Uche has been named in La Liga's Team of the Month, which was largely dominated by Spanish giants Real Madrid, by football statisticians WhoScored.
The 21-year-old midfielder who has sometimes featured as a forward for the Spanish side, earned his place amongst January's best eleven for his performances throughout the month.
The Deep Blues played out a barren draw at Sevilla last Saturday in the Spanish La Liga.
However, Getafe secured an impressive 3-0 victory against Real Sociedad before in the previous match day, with Uche netting the game's first goal and provided the assist for the third goal.
Uche, who only joined Getafe in the summer from lower league side Ceuta for €500,000, also registered a goal involvement against Las Palmas on January 12, bagging an assist in his side's 2-1 win on the night.
This season, he has managed twenty-six appearances across all competitions in which he has scored two goals and assisted thrice.
The Super Eagles hopeful is joined by Getafe teammate David Soria in goal, with Leganes's Matija Nastasic marshalling the defense alongside Rayo Vallecano's Abdul Mumin.
Villareal's Sergi Cardona features at left-back, with Deportivo Alaves's Nahuel Tenaglia completing the four-man backline at right-back.
Real Madrid's trio of Dani Ceballos, Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo Goes headline the midfield as centre and left midfielders respectively alongside Sevilla's Dodi Lukebakio on the midfield's right hand side, in a four-man midfield pairing.
Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe rounds up the eleven in a two-striker pairing with Uche.
