'Has two teams in mind' - Galatasaray insider claims Osimhen prefers move to Juventus or Barcelona
Published: April 14, 2025
Galatasaray insider Mehmet Ozcan has stated that Victor Osimhen, the prolific Nigerian striker, is considering moves to Italian giants Juventus and Spanish powerhouse Barcelona this upcoming summer transfer window.
Osimhen, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray, has made a remarkable impact in Istanbul, netting 29 goals and providing six assists in 33 appearances across all competitions since his arrival from Napoli.
His stellar performance has not only caught the attention of fans but has also raised questions about his future, with several top European clubs reportedly keeping a close eye on him.
Ozcan emphasized that while Galatasaray are keen to retain the talented forward, Osimhen has two other major clubs in mind.
"The experienced center forward currently has two other teams in mind besides Galatasaray: Juventus from Italy and Barcelona from Spain," he stated in an interview with Sabah, as reported by habersarikirmizi.
Juventus appears to be particularly interested in Osimhen as they navigate uncertainty surrounding Dusan Vlahovic's future at the club.
Similarly, Barcelona is in the market for a new striker, especially with Robert Lewandowski aging and potentially entering his last season with the Catalan club.
Despite the growing interest from these European giants, Osimhen remains focused on his current responsibilities.
He aims to help Galatasaray secure a domestic double after the team's early exit from the UEFA Europa League.
As the summer transfer window approaches, all eyes will be on Osimhen to see where his career will take him next.
