Official: SERGIO MARKARIAN Unveils Squad To Face Eagles

According to the official website of the Peru Football Federation, Professor Sergio Markarian, coach of Peru, has unveiled an 18-man list of local players available for selection in next week's high profile friendly against the Super Eagles of Nigeria, an important match where both teams are expected to fine-tune strategies ahead of vital World Cup qualifiers.
The players have been mandated to report to the training camp at Videna on Sunday, May 20. Markarian has handed call ups to players drawn from six clubs in the Primera Division: Alianza Lima, Leon de Huanuco, Juan Aurich, Sporting Cristal, San Martin and Academic.
13 players based abroad have already started training under the guidance of Sergio Markarian since the start of the week.
Wednesday's game is also a testimonial match for Peru legend and most capped player, Roberto Palacios, who is expected to play for 15 minutes. The kick off is 1400 hours Nigeria time.
