Official: DARLINGTON OMODIAGBE Extends With Wacker Burghausen
Published: June 16, 2012Experienced defender Darlington Omodiagbe has extended his contract with Germany's 3 Liga club Wacker Burghausen by an additional one season, with an option for an extra year in his favor.
The new contract keeps the former Under 23 ace at Wacker Burghausen until June 30, 2013.
''I am happy to announce that I have extended my stay with Wacker. for one year, and a year's option if I am still interested in continuing with them.
''I am very happy we finally came to an agreement. Hopefully, next season we shall aim for promotion to the II Bundesliga,'' Omodiagbe told allnigeriasoccer.com.
The veteran centre-back suited 23 times( 1 goal) for the Bavarian outfit last term, scoring one goal in the home game against Jahn Regensburg in September, 2011.
