ISAAC OKORONKWO Out For Three Weeks
Published: August 06, 2012Second from bottom in the Russian Premier League, Rostov will be without the services of former Nigeria international Isaac Okoronkwo for the next three weeks, reports the official website.
Okoronkwo who is presently undergoing individual training, has not played for Rostov after match day three in the Russian championship after he picked up an injury in an exhibition game just before the start of the season.
In Okoronkwo's absence, Rostov have exhibited defensive frailties, which their opponents have capitalized on by scoring six goals in three matches.
The veteran defender is under contract with FC Rostov until June 2013.
