VINCENT ENYEAMA Did Not Agree Personal Terms With Maccabi Tel Aviv
Published: August 07, 2012
Contrary to trending reports that Lille have loaned Vincent Enyeama to Maccabi Tel Aviv, allnigeriasoccer.com can report that there are still loose ends to be tied up before the transfer materializes.
Maccabi Tel Aviv have failed to confirm the arrival of the goalkeeper as they are still negotiating personal terms with the Nigeria international.
Enyeama flew to Israel on Sunday evening; the following day he had successful medicals with Maccabi Tel Aviv.
''Still no agreement. He (Enyeama, ed) takes off this evening back to France, and according to what he said, decided to continue negotiations with Maccabi.
''A club can not force the player where to sign and many more things that were agreed upon. On the other hand, everything is open and could well be Vincent Enyeama returns again next week to Israel and joins Maccabi Tel Aviv,'' an associate of Enyeama told Israeli newspaper Walla.
The ex Enyimba custodian reportedly earns about 900,000 euros per season at Lille. To borrow him from Lille until the end of the 2012 - 2013 season, Maccabi Tel Aviv are only willing to part with 300, 000 euros.
