EMMANUEL EMENIKE Banned From Talking To The Press
Published: August 21, 2012
Nigeria international Emmanuel Emenike had signed a contract with Fenerbahçe in the summer of 2011.
Before making his official debut for The Yellow Canaries, he was sold to Spartak Moscow, the club the Turkish team meets in tonight's UEFA Champions League play-off match, due to match fixing allegations he was then facing.
There are speculations that Emenike will not be available for the second leg tie in Turkey on August 29th. Coach of Spartak Moscow, Unai Emery did not confirm the striker's relevance for the encounter at the Åükrü SaracoÄlu Stadium, Istanbul.
'' It's too early to talk about. I do not know, however, if he goes to Istanbul,'' said Emery.
To avoid any controversy, Emmanuel Emenike has been banned by the management of Spartak Moscow from talking to the Press ahead of Tuesday's important game.
