Venezuela Coach, CESAR FARIAS Picks Squad For Nigeria Friendly
Published: October 28, 2012National Coach of Venezuela Cesar Farias has unveiled a list of 22 players invited for the friendly against the Super Eagles on November 14 in Miami, USA, reports Venezuelan football website lavinotinto.com.
Farias, 39, has some new additions in the squad announced. For the first time, Trujillanos FC pair Francisco Carabalí Terán, a right winger and midfielder Archimedes Figuera have been invited to The Burgundy. Also in the squad is 23 - year -old forward of Deportivo Anzoategui, Gelmin Rivas.
An analysis of the roster announced has shown that two goalkeepers, seven defenders, nine midfielders and four attackers have been invited for the friendly at Marlins' new baseball stadium.
The team departs Venezuela for the United States on November 12. The Burgundy sit fourth on the table in the South American World Cup qualifiers with 12 points from nine matches.
