Coach Amrouche Unveils Foreign Based Professionals For Nigeria Clash
Harambee Stars head coach Adel Amrouche has released a list of 12 foreign based players who will join the locally based stars in preparation for the forthcoming world Cup qualifier matches starting with Nigeria’s Super Eagles early in June, writes michezoafrika.com.

Among those called in for national duty include Inter Milan ace Macdonald Mariga who has been missing from the Stars squad for the past one year.

Mariga last featured for Harambee Stars in the African Cup of Nations qualifier match against Uganda Cranes in Kampala in a match that ended 0-0.

He was later recalled early in 2012 by coach Francis Kimanzi but he declined to train with the rest of the Harambee Stars squad despite arriving at Kasarani due to a disagreement between himself and FKF.He went on to miss the AFCON qualifier encounter against Togo after failing to get back over one million shillings in accumulated flight ticket funds.

Scottish Young player of the season Victor Wanyama of Celtic  is expected to be in command of the Kenyan midfield alongside his elder brother Macdonald Mariga.

Others in the list include England based Curtis Osano, Kepha Aswani who is based in Oman, Israel based Patrick Osiako and Belgium based Ayub Timbe.

Others are Arnold Origi and Dennis Oliech, David Gateri, Johanna Omollo and Brian Mandela.

Origi and Oliech are however not eligible to play in the Nigeria return leg match as they are on yellow card suspension.

They will however join the team in training as they will be in action when Kenya plays Malawi a week later.
