Ahmed Musa: I Was Unlucky With The Penalty
Published: June 02, 2013Ahmed Musa was the only CSKA Moscow player that failed to convert his penalty kick against Anzhi on Saturday in the Russian Cup final.
While Musa has expressed delight that the Army Men won their seventh Russian Cup, he has admitted that he was unlucky not to score from the spot.
''Of course, I'm happy that we were able to win such a difficult match. As for the penalty, then I think luck has turned against me.
'' The most difficult moment of the match? Vernblum's red card. We were left with ten men, but survived, strictly played defense.
''
Of course, it was hard to play in this heat, but we managed. I know that some people think I'm the best player in the championship. Grateful to them for this evaluation,'' says Ahmed Musa to sport-express.ru.
