Fifa Unveil Confederations Cup Dream Team
Published: July 04, 2013Football's governing body, Fifa on Thursday released the ideal starting eleven, otherwise known as the Dream Team of the Confederations Cup which took place in Brazil from June 15 - 30.
No Nigerian player was listed by the association. Seven Brazilians, three Spanish and one Italian were selected.
The best eleven players were chosen by Fifa.com visitors,
Dream Team:
Goalkeeper: Júlio César (Brazil)
Defenders: Dani Alves (Brazil), Sergio Ramos (Spain), Thiago Silva (Brazil) and David Luiz (Brazil)
Midfielder: Andrés Iniesta (Spain), Andrea Pirlo (Italy) and Paulinho (Brazil)
Strikers: Neymar (Brazil), Fernando Torres (Spain) and Fred (Brazil).
Coach: Luiz Felipe Scolari.
