Reading Postpone Decision On Joseph Akpala

Joseph Akpala has returned to Bremen after trialling with Championship outfit Reading for about a week.<br /><br />According to a press release by <i>The Royals</i>, the club will make a decision on whether the attacker will be offered a contract before the close of the summer transfer market on September 2nd.<br /><br />'' We've had an opportunity to take a good look at him this week, he's an international football player who&atilde;&cent;&acirc;&sbquo;&not;&acirc;&bdquo;&cent;s played in the Bundesliga.<br /><br />"&atilde;&cent;&acirc;&nbsp; He's got a scoring pedigree in Belgium before that, it hasn't worked out as well as it could have in Germany at this moment in time, and like I say he's a player we've had an opportunity to take a look at,'' manager Nigel Adkins told readingfc.co.uk.<br /><br />Joseph Akpala , 27 today, is not in the plans of manager <span style="" class="notranslate">Robin Dutt this season, and he trained with the Werder Bremen reserve team on Saturday morning at </span>Weserstadion.<br /><br />He still has a contract with The Green - Whites until the summer of 2016.<br />
