Through their official website, Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers announced last week that versatile Italian-Nigerian midfielder Temple Ojinnaka has signed his first professional contract.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have not disclosed the length of Ojinnaka's new deal. 

Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Ojinnaka has put pen to paper on a two-year and five-month contract that will keep him at the Molineux Stadium until the end of the 2024-2025 season.

Though Ojinnaka came to Wolves at the age of 12, it took a long time to get his registration sorted out because Wolves had to apply for international clearance.   

In his final season as a schoolboy, the Flying Eagles-eligible player made sixteen appearances in the U18 Premier League

This season, the 17-year-old has represented Wolverhampton Wanderers youth teams in the FA Youth Cup, U18 Premier League, Papa Johns Trophy, Premier League 2, Premier League Cup and Premier League International Cup. 

Ojinnaka is a versatile player who can be deployed as a central defender and is also comfortable playing in the center of the pitch.
