Leicester City are fifth in the table going into the final round of the 2019-2020 Premier League season but their destiny is still in their hands and a win against Manchester United would see them qualify for the Champions League for only the second time in their history.
Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers faced an injury crisis in defence before the clash against the Red Devils, with Christian Fuchs, Ben Chilwell and Ricardo Pereira not available for selection, while the experienced Caglar Soyuncu has been omitted from the matchday squad as he is serving a suspension.
The Northern Irish coach has opted to field three center backs in James Justin and the ageing but experienced duo Wes Morgan and Jonny Evans
Super Eagles star Wilfred Ndidi is part of a three-man midfield also featuring Youri Tielemans and Hamza Choudhury.
Speaking just before the start of the game broadcasted on the Premier League world feed, Manchester United icon Ryan Giggs pointed out that Leicester City have defensive frailties and he expects Ndidi to help out in defence.
"I can only see potentially Ndidi getting back. He's got that experience but like Michael Owen said they look really weak at the back," said Giggs.
"And to stop Martial, Rashford, Fernandes, Greenwood; United could probably afford to attack with five players, defend with five players.
"United know they have the firepower and Leicester are a little bit weak at the back."
Meanwhile, leading scorer in the Premier League with 23 goals, Jamie Vardy is partnered in attack by Kelechi Iheanacho.
