Arsenal secured a third straight win in the group stage of this season's Europa League after coming from behind to beat Norwegian champions Molde 4-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday night.
While Norwegian-Nigerian striker Ohi Omoijuanfo started and made way for Leke James in the 74th minute, Arsenal's Bukayo Saka hopped off the bench in the 64th minute.
The Gunners number 7 provided the assist for the third goal scored by Nicolas Pepe, the Ivorian slamming in a shot from the edge of the area after Saka pulled the ball back.
The Anglo-Nigerian has now registered 14 assists in all competitions since the start of the 2019-2020 season, more than any other teenager on the books of a Premier League club.
Nine minutes from time, Saka came close to scoring when he thumped the ball against the post and Nketiah had the ball in the net but the goal was ruled out as the winger was offside in the buildup.
Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves identified Saka as one of the Arsenal players that played a key role in the victory over Molde.
"Nketiah was great, Joe Willock was fabulous, Saka came on and affected the game and because they had the right mindset - like Spurs did earlier," Hargreaves said on BT Sport according to Football.London.
"Then they won this game, because I think Molde made this a really tough game in the way they approached it."
Molde's Ellingsen netted the opener in the 21st minute, own goals by Haugen and Sinyan made it 2-1 before Pepe and Willock struck to seal victory for the home team.
