San Jose Earthquakes Midfielder Fatai Alashe Lists Gains Of Playing For USA In Toulon Tournament
United States Under 23 international Fatai Alashe has admitted that he learned a lot from his participation at this summer’s Toulon Tournament. <br /><br />The San Jose Earthquakes midfielder appeared for USA three times during the tournament and was on target in the 2 - 1 loss suffered at the hands of Costa Rica at the end of last month.<br /><br />“The competition was obviously a lot different. I’ve played in some U-23 games before, but those were more friendlies,” Alashe was quoted as saying by mlssoccer.com.<br /><br />“This wasn’t a major tournament, but it was a competition and you could tell there was a lot more competitive spirit going into it, from other teams and our team as well. <br /><br />For me, it was definitely a good experience.
