Sone Aluko is one of the nominees for Fulham&rsquo;s October Goal of the Month award, the Championship club have announced via their official webpage. <br /><br />Aluko&rsquo;s goal has been shortlisted alongside strikes from Scott Malone, Chris Martin, Lucas Piazon, Kevin McDonald, Jon Dagur Thorsteinsson, Stephen Humphrys and Cameron Thompson.<br /><br />The Nigerian striker struck in the 42nd minute of the Cottagers 4-2 win over Barnsley when he fired home a pass from Johansen.<br /><br />On Tuesday, the former Hull City star picked up the man of the match award for notching three assists in Fulham&rsquo;s 5-0 rout of Huddersfield Town last Saturday.<br /><br />Sone Aluko joined Fulham on a two-year contract in July 2016.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley<br /><br />Photo Credit : fulhamfc.com<br />
