In his bid to reach out to Nigerians in order to get the dreams of school boys and girls actualized as well as bridge the communication gap with the masses, Super Eagles midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has launched an official website as well as social media platforms for his foundation.
The Stoke city star who is bent on mentoring and supporting young boys and girls to pursue education which he described as a veritable tool for human capital development had in July, 2018 visited selected schools in Warri, Delta State and distributed school writing materials.
Etebo believes the social media platforms will enable more people reaching out to him in his quest to relive poverty among vulnerable children by donating educational materials, organizing sports events to empower lads in harnessing their potentials as well as organizing parenting seminars and workshops to increase parent's knowledge, skills, confidence and enjoyment of the parenting role.
The project coordinator Etebo Oghenekaro Peter foundation, Mr Ogbemudia Endurance Iseri who expressed delight at the rare feat said a lot is yet to be unveiled, stressing that the foundation also intend to get new uniforms for pupils, and other basic materials to make learning fun and in the coming days will be distributing various textbooks to primary school pupils in Warri/Effurun axis.
He further said the foundation will in future organise football tournaments for primary school pupils to discover raw talents that could compete at world's biggest stage, just like Etebo Oghenekaro Peter.
