Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr says he will treat the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Libya like last year's World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon.
The German has insisted that the players have to be in tip-top condition because they have to play two competitive matches under four days.
The Super Eagles thrashed Cameroon 4-0 at the Akwa Ibom Stadium on September 1, 2017 thanks to goals from Odion Ighalo, Obi Mikel, Victor Moses and Kelechi Iheanacho before they were held to a 1-1 draw by the Indomitable Lions in Yaounde three days later.
''We have to prepare for the two matches like we did against Cameroon last year,'' Rohr said.
''Focus on Libya's strong team who had a draw in South Africa and are the leader in our group.
''Two games in four days means to be very fit physically and technically.''
Rohr will monitor at least 22 of the 24 invited players on Wednesday afternoon when the Super Eagles hold their first workout on grass.
