Super Eagles fans have sent a message to manager Gernot Rohr that Tyronne Ebuehi should start ahead of Abdullahi Shehu at the 2018 World Cup.

They have made comparisons between the two right-backs and believe that the new Benfica signing has better qualities to become the Super Eagles first choice following the team's 1-0 loss to Czech Republic on Wednesday afternoon.

Ebuehi has been shadowing Abdullahi Shehu since he made his international debut last June, replacing him in matches against Togo, Argentina, Poland and England, and it is thought he would have forced his way into the starting lineup ahead of the mundial if not for his injury problems in the second half of the 2017-2018 season.
