The Chelsea players returned to the training pitches at Cobham on Monday, July 19 following their 6-1 rout of Championship newcomers Peterborough United in a behind-closed-doors friendly this past weekend.
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Super Eagles hopeful Ike Ugbo was among the players that attended today's session despite speculation linking him with a departure from Stamford Bridge.
The 22-year-old featured in the friendly against Peterborough United, entering the fray in the second half.
The report added that the Purple and White are considering a move for Ugbo as a replacement for Albert Lokonga who joined Arsenal on Monday for £18 million.
PSV Eindhoven and Racing Genk have been touted as frontrunners for the signature of Ugbo, who has been on the books of Chelsea for fourteen years having joined the club as an U10.
With several teams interested in signing Ugbo, Chelsea may push up his asking price.
