Super Eagles midfielder, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru made his Serie A debut for Lazio during their 3-1 win against Venezia on Sunday night.
The 23-year-old midfielder joined Lazio on loan from Turkish club Hatayspor in the summer transfer window, with an obligation to make a permanent move at the end of the season.
Fisayo was included in a midfield trio with former Arsenal player Matteo Guendouzi and Nicolo Rovella.
Lazio managed secured a 3-1 victory at the Stadio Olimpico, overcoming an initial threat from Venezia.
Magnus Kofod Andersen opened the scoring for the visitors in the third minute, creating some tension in the stadium.
Despite this, Lazio equalized with Valentine Castellanos' goal in the 11th minute.
In the 44th minute, Mattia Zaccagni scored from the penalty spot to give the hosts the lead, and a Giorgio Altare own goal sealed the victory for Lazio.
During the entire match, the 23-year-old Dele-Bashiru showcased his skills and performance, impressing Lazio fans and proving why there was so much excitement surrounding his transfer.
The Manchester City academy product completed three dribble attempts, 43 out of 45 passes, resulting in an impressive 96% pass success rate.
