Supreme Court Near Top Spot After Win Against Adamawa
Supreme Court FC again turned on style to keep top flight dream alive after posting a superlative 3-1 win over visiting Adamawa United in one of the Nigeria National League (NNL) matches decided at Area 3 Play Ground, Abuja on Sunday.<br /><br />The Apex Boys left nothing to chance from the blast of whistle before finding the back of the net in 13th minutes of play.<br /><br />A well-taken free-kick by Friday Jacob from close opened goal scoring account during the day’s action-filled encounter.<br /><br />Jacob who showed a man of the match display volleyed in the second goal at the 60th minute of play. <br /><br />Shortly after, Defender Sincere Seth made it three in the 74th minute.<br /><br />Speaking shortly after the match dogged by several officiating controversies generated after Adamawa United were awarded a penalty before stoppage time, Supreme Court FC Technical Adviser, Coach Fatai Osho said his team are not far from clinching top.<br /><br />His words “We will keep the momentum. The commendation should go for my players who are gradually understanding the style of play I want from them.<br /><br />“If we continue this way, we will ultimately make it to the top.”<br /><br />Goal scorer, Jacob added “I’m very happy scoring the goals. The goals couldn’t have come if not for team play.
