Swedish-Nigeria forward Alase signs new 5-year deal with FCM, follows Super Eagles on social media

Through official channels, Danish Superliga side FC Midtjylland have announced that Swedish-Nigerian forward Emmanuel Alase has signed a new deal with the club, seven  months  after his arrival from Norrköping.

Alase has signed a five-year contract extension with The Wolves until the end of 2030.

This season, the 2008-born winger has scored once in nine outings in the U19 Boys League and netted against Randers in the Future Cup.

Football director Jacob Larsen said FC Midtjylland were pleased to extend their collaboration with Emmanuel, noting that the player was gradually settling in Central Denmark.

He explained that the new agreement would provide stability and continuity in their work with him while also giving the youngster the best conditions to develop within the club’s environment.

Commenting on his new deal, Alase stated: "I feel really good, and it wasn't difficult to sign this extension. The first time here at the club was a bit tough – I missed my family and I've also been injured a lot – but things are going well now, and I'm sure my time will come."

Uncapped by Sweden at any level, Alase is seemingly a fan of Nigeria's senior national team as he follows the Super Eagles and Victor Osimhen on Instagram.
