According to Mundo Deportivo, Nigeria women's national team captain Asisat Oshoala is determined to end her association with European champions Barcelona Femení in the summer transfer window.
Women's Super League side Manchester United have been heavily linked with a swoop for the former Liverpool and Arsenal attacker, whose deal with The Blaugranes expires in 2022.
The celebrated Spanish sports daily has explained that Oshoala is aiming to move on to pastures new because she has a poor working relationship with manager Lluís Cortés.
Despite the club winning the treble - UEFA Women's Champions League, Primera División and Copa de la Reina - the Barcelona players want the coach to be fired ahead of next season, Sport has reported.
Oshoala is frustrated that she has lost her place in the starting lineup, especially for important matches, having come off the bench in the last three games played by Barcelona in the Champions League.
In April, the Super Falcon posted on social media, "This man only talks to me when he needs me… I am working to find a better environment for myself. Summer is near".
Oshoala has scored 43 league goals in 49 appearances for Barcelona since joining the club, initially on loan, before the deal was made permanent two years ago.
