'There are conversations' - Farioli reveals when Porto will make transfer decision on Moffi

FC Porto manager Francesco Farioli has confirmed that a final decision on the future of striker Terem Moffi will only be made after the conclusion of the 2025–26 season.

'We are about to make some decision' - Farioli reveals when Porto will make transfer decision on Moffi

Moffi joined  Porto on loan from OGC Nice during the winter transfer window, with an option to make the move permanent, following attack with the club’s supporters in France.

However, the Nigeria international has found it difficult to make a strong impact at the Estádio do Dragão, a situation that has fuelled growing speculation over his long-term future at the club.

Speaking during the press conference ahead of the Primeira Liga clash with AVS, Farioli stressed that discussions over player futures are ongoing but insisted no decisions will be rushed.

"As you know, there are players whose contracts are ending and, as you can imagine. There are conversations with them and their agents to understand the situation and possible conditions," Farioli said as reported by Ojogo

"I am very grateful to them for their level of professionalism and for what they have contributed. I have a personal connection with all of them.

"We are about to make some decisions, but nothing will be decided before the championship final, because our focus is still on getting as many points as possible in these two games."

Since joining FC Porto, Moffi has made nine league appearances, with eight of those coming as a substitute. The Nigerian international has scored one goal and registered one assist during that period.

With Porto already crowned champions, Moffi will be aiming to make a strong impression on the manager in the remaining matches of the campaign as he looks to strengthen his case for a potential permanent move.
