Galatasaray insider Arda Özkurt has reacted to speculation linking Victor Osimhen with a departure from the Turkish champions in the summer transfer window.
Following a successful loan spell in 2024-2025, the Lions signed him on a permanent deal last summer, tying him down to a four-year contract running until June 30, 2029.
In search of a successor to Robert Lewandowski, Barcelona have reportedly set their sights on the former African Footballer of the Year, while Atletico Madrid have also been credited with an interest in recent days.
There are claims that the Super Eagles striker is unhappy at Galatasaray and could move on to pastures new at the end of the season.
Arda Özkurt has moved to shut down the rumours, confirming that he was informed by Galatasaray chiefs that no offers have been received for the 2015 Fifa World Cup Golden Boot winner as things stand.
In quotes relayed by habersarikirmizi.com, he stated: "I asked Galatasaray if they had any interest in Victor Osimhen. The answer was, 'We haven't received any offers, and we have no intention of selling him.'"
Özkurt continued: "Osimhen has no plans to leave either. Those who are spreading these rumors do not have good intentions."
Osimhen has tallied fifteen goals across twenty-one matches in all competitions so far this season.
