Serie A side Torino have stepped up their pursuit of much - coveted Carpi striker Jerry Mbakogu.<br /><br />The stumbling block is that The Bulls have failed to meet Carpi&rsquo;s 8 million euros valuation of the player, according to Tuttosport.<br /><br />Torino are willing to pay 3 million euros and have offered another player as makeweight in the deal, but Carpi are refusing to yield to their demands.<br /><br />Jerry Mbakogu is not short of suitors, with the likes of Lokomotiv Moscow, Kuban and Napoli all credited with an interest for his services.<br /><br />The 22 - year - old, who has committed his international future to Nigeria, is under contract with Carpi until June 30, 2019.
