Chelsea central defender Tosin Adarabioyo has returned to first-team training ahead of the Blues’ Premier League fixture against Leeds United at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, head coach Liam Rosenior confirmed.
Speaking to reporters at Cobham on Monday, Rosenior provided the latest team news ahead of the clash.
On Adarabioyo, the coach said: "Tosin is looking good, he trained today and it’s great to have him in and around the group."
The Nigeria-eligible defender had been sidelined since January after suffering a hamstring injury during Chelsea’s Premier League game against Brentford.
His return to training marks a significant step in his recovery and signals that he is close to being match-fit again.
Rosenior confirmed that Tosin has resumed full training with the first-team squad and is participating in regular sessions alongside other players.
The defender’s return to training means he is available for selection ahead of Chelsea’s upcoming Premier League match against Leeds United at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea’s squad at Cobham continued preparations under Rosenior on Monday, with other first-team players also taking part in training sessions.
