Twelve Arsenal academy products of Nigerian descent have sent messages of congratulations to Kido Taylor-Hart following the confirmation of his new deal at Arsenal on Monday, August 2.
They are Tim Akinola, Mazeed Ogungbo, Chuks Aneke, Ryan Alebiosu, Joel Ideho, Daniel Oyegoke, Malcolm Ebiowei, Nathan Butler-Oyedeji, Miguel Azeez, Arthur Okonkwo, Joseph Olowu and Armstrong Okoflex.
Taylor-Hart has inked his first professional contract - a reward for an outstanding campaign that saw him net six goals and provide four assists in eleven matches for Arsenal U18s in 2020-2021.
Last season, the 18-year-old winger proved he's ready to make the step-up to the U23s with four goals in thirteen games for the age group.
An England youth international, KTH has been on the books of the Gunners since the age of seven.
Reacting to his first pro deal at Arsenal, Kido Taylor-Hart stated on Instagram : "I'm excited to sign my first professional contract and extend my 10 years as an Arsenal player.
"I took my time to consider all options and I know I need to continue learning and working even harder to earn a pathway to fulfill my dreams.
"Thanks to my family, my agent and management team, everyone at the club and all the fans who have sent me messages, can’t wait for the new season."
