Victor Moses Ends Talk Of Move To Barcelona By Signing New Chelsea Deal
Barcelona-linked right wing-back Victor Moses has ended speculation about his future by putting pen to paper on a new contract with English football pacesetters Chelsea, the Premier League side have officially announced.<br /><br />Having signed a two-year contract extension, Moses will now remain at Stamford Bridge until the end of the 2020-2021 season if the two parties honour the agreement.<br /><br />In his first words after penning the new contract, Moses stated : <span class="body1">“I feel very excited. I’m delighted to be here for another few years now and to sign a new deal. <br /><br /></span><span class="body1"><span class="body1">“</span>Now it’s time to concentrate on the team and keep working hard to make sure we win games and try to win the Premier League this season.</span><span class="body1">”<br /><br />Moses, 26, joined Chelsea in the summer of 2012 and helped the Blues win the Europa League in his first season.<br /><br />After enjoying loan spells at Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham, the Nigerian has broken into the first team this season in a new right back position. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />Photo Credit : chelseafc.com <br /></span>
