Villarreal have started talks with representatives of Ikechukwu Uche over the extension of his contract.<br /><br />Spanish sports daily <i>AS.com</i> writes on its online edition that the 30 - year - old&rsquo;s current deal with the Yellow Submarine will run out on June 30, 2015. <br /><br />The powers that be at the La Liga side have been impressed with his performance over the last two years, and are keen on offering him fresh terms.<br /><br />To that end, the club opened a line of communication with the attacker&rsquo;s agents few weeks ago, with the parties expected to reach an agreement in the coming weeks.<br /><br />The Nigeria international has been on the payroll of Villarreal for the past four seasons, after switching from Real Zaragoza.<br /><br />Photo Credit: <cite>villarrealcf.es</cite><br /><br />
