<b>Allnigeriasoccer.com</b> has been informed that Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi is unlikely to leave Racing Genk this summer.<br /><br />The defensive midfielder was heavily courted by Hamburg and Watford in the summer transfer window, with the Bundesliga team earlier thought be in pole position to land his signature. <br /><br />The update from sources close to the deal is that Hamburg have dropped their interest in Wilfred Ndidi.<br /><br />The former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles star penned a new deal at Racing Genk in February 2016 which will see him remain at the club until the summer of 2020.<br /><br />Ndidi, 19, has started and gone the distance in nine matches across all competitions in the new season. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br /><br />
