Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr has revealed that his players are ready to adapt to the conditions of the Teslim Balogun Stadium turf in Surulere, Lagos when they tackle Lesotho this evening.
With the exception of Ahmed Musa, none of the current Super Eagles players has played a match in Lagos.
The German football tactician reiterated that he is targeting another win against the Crocodiles, even though there is nothing at stake as they have already clinched top spot in Group L of AFCON qualifying with a game to spare.
On playing in Lagos, Rohr said : "The first thing is that the pitch is okay, it needs to be watered tomorrow because it is very dry.
"The first time? We are a team without any home for the moment, we have gone to Asaba, Benin City, Uyo, we go to Lagos now and perhaps to Abuja the next time I don't know.
"What we have to do is to adapt on each pitch, they are professionals, they know that in Africa it is not exactly the same conditions to play, they have a little bit experience.
"What is counting now is a good match to finish the qualifiers."
Nigeria defeated Lesotho 4-2 in the reverse fixture back in November 2019, with Napoli striker Victor Osimhen involved in all the goals scored by the three-time African champions.
