Wolfsburg loanee Victor Osimhen is very confident that the Dream Team VII can overturn the 2-0 deficit carried over from the first leg in Tunisia when they face Libya in an U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Monday afternoon.
The 2015 U17 World Cup-winning striker is one of the four Super Eagles invitees drafted in to strengthen the squad, the others being Francis Uzoho, Valentine Ozornwafor and Chidozie Awaziem.
Osimhen is not new to the Dream Team as he was part of the squad at the 2015 U23 Africa Cup of Nations, few months after winning the Golden Boot at the Fifa U17 World Cup.
'The coach believes in me, that's why he requested for me and I think I just want to repay him with the hard work tomorrow and we just have ninety minutes to turn things around,'' Osimhen said after training on Sunday.
''I think the boys and I are ready and we are going all out for this match, get the win and qualify also.
''Tomorrow, there will be a lot of positive quality in the team and not just individually, the team comes first before any player.
''Me and the boys we want to give our all to turn the game around. I think we can do it by the grace of God and by the help of our fans.''
Osimhen concluded by saying : ''No I am not under pressure, of course there is a little bit of pressure in the team because of the two-goal deficit.
''I think we can turn this around, we can really turn this around. I am very sure about it. Tomorrow, we can turn this around by the help of our fans. I think we can, we will''.
