The Premier League has revealed the shortlist for November's Premier League 2 Player of the Month award, with two Nigerian teenagers among the eight nominees.
West Ham United left-back Emeka Adiele and Stoke City forward Favour Fawunmi have been shortlisted for the monthly accolade.
Adiele is in the form of his life, directly participating in eleven goals (4 goals, 7 assists) across fourteen appearances in the Premier League 2, EFL Trophy and National League Cup.
Last month, the 18-year-old found the net in a 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers, before assisting Josh Ajala score the Hammers' second goal in a 3-0 win versus Liverpool.
Adiele's former West Ham teammate Fawunmi was also in brilliant form in November, scoring in back-to-back games against West Brom and Crystal Palace in the Premier League 2.
Fawunmi has been called up for five first team games this season, making two starts against Walsall and Bradford in the Carabao Cup while he was an unused substitute in Championship matches against Derby County, Sheffield Wednesday and Southampton.
Fawunmi and Adiele are up against Fulham trio Oliver Gofford, Farhaan Ali Wahid and Jonathan Esenga; Middlesbrough's Sonny Finch, Nottingham Forest's Kalum Thompson and Everton goalkeeper George Pickford.
