'We've seen before' - Buyuka warns Galatasaray against overreliance on Osimhen

Sports commentator Şansal Büyüka has raised a cautionary note for Galatasaray as the Turkish giants continue to lean heavily on Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen for goals.

The club, renowned for its rich attacking tradition, has in recent seasons often relied on individual brilliance, and Büyüka believes this approach, while effective, carries inherent risks.

Speaking on the Sports Digitale YouTube channel, via habersarikirmizi.com, he analyzed the team’s recent performances and highlighted a subtle yet important shift in how the squad is operating on the field.

"In the last 1-2 matches, Galatasaray seemed to have somewhat overcome their dependence on Osimhen. This is an extremely important development for Galatasaray," Büyüka said, signaling that the team is beginning to adopt a more balanced and collective attacking strategy, rather than relying solely on the Super Eagles striker.

He pointed out that this change could have significant long-term benefits, not only reducing predictability in attack but also easing pressure on Osimhen.

Büyüka elaborated on the significance of this transformation: "There's a rapid shift from one man to a team. This will greatly benefit Galatasaray."

He also offered a cautionary reminder drawn from past experiences: "We've seen before that focusing solely on Osimhen causes serious problems."

Osimhen has been in sensational form this season, scoring 15 goals across 21 appearances in all competitions.
