Physical Nigerian Striker Araba Nets Brace In Test Game For ADO Den Haag

Dutch Eredivisie side ADO Den Haag have handed a trial to physical Nigerian striker Hakeem Araba with a view to signing him in the summer transfer window.

The 27-year-old netted a brace as ADO Den Haag thrashed LVV Lugdunum 7-0 in a pres-season friendly on Saturday afternoon.

Araba came off the bench at halftime and made it 2-0 two minutes into the second half after a cross from Elson Hooi., then scored his second goal on the hour mark.

He is searching for a new team after terminating his contract with PS Kemi on June 8, six months before the agreement was due to run out.

On his curriculum vitae, he has played for seventeen different clubs in his professional career, including spells in Cyprus, Greece, Denmark, Finland and Sweden.

In 2016, Araba was ranked the seventh strongest player on Fifa 17, and scored 62 overall.

Super Eagles right-back Tyronne Ebuehi's contract with ADO Den Haag officially comes to an end today, which will pave the way for him to complete his move to Benfica on July 2.
