Jadon Sancho's Nigerian agent, Emeka Obasi is hopeful that Manchester United will be able to agree a deal with Borussia Dortmund for his flagship client, according to reports.
Borussia Dortmund are demanding 120 million euros from the Premier League giants but due to the coronavirus pandemic that has crippled the finances of even the big clubs, the Red Devils want to pay the fee by installments - 70m euros upfront, then the balance spread over two years.
The German Bundesliga outfit want the future of Sancho to be sorted out before the start of their pre-season training camp on August 10.
"The player's agent Emeka Obasi has recently been busy doing other deals notably [Bukayo] Saka's new deal at Arsenal," Journalist Ian McGarry told the Transfer Window podcast, according to The Sun.
"But he is still hopeful that United will be able to agree a fee with Borussia Dortmund."
Obasi handles the affairs of several players who have committed their international futures to the Super Eagles over the Three Lions, including Ola Aina, Alex Iwobi, Joe Aribo, Josh Maja and Chuba Akpom.
His other Nigeria-eligible clients include Sheyi Ojo, Fred Onyedinma, Tobi Omole, Andrew Omobamidele, Emmanuel Sonupe, Tobi Omole and Golden Eaglets invitee Malcolm Ebiowei.
