Crystal Palace have come up with a win after three defeats in their last four games in all competitions, beating Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 at Selhurst Park (London) on Saturday evening.
Making his 14th Premier League start of 2020-2021, Eberechi Eze produced a moment of magic in the second half to hand the Eagles all three points.
The England U21 international trapped the ball and hit a left-footed strike past Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Rui Patrício on the hour mark.
Eze has directly participated in five goals (3 goals, 2 assists) in his last thirteen league matches, certainly not a bad return considering that this is his first season in the Premier League.
Shortly after the game, the Nigeria Football Federation target faced the cameras, saying he was delighted Crystal Palace returned to winning ways and talked through his goal.
"It's been a long time coming. It's not been going for us but today we're grateful to win," Eze said to BBC Sport.
"We always put in the work and try to do the best we can but it hasn't come off at times. It's been a difficult run but we've put it right today.
"With the quality we've got in our team, we always know we're capable of creating chances. I just saw the ball roll across the box, tried to create a bit of space so I could get my shot off.
"Now, we want to be looking up the table, getting points on the board and climbing up as fast as we can."
Eze's other Premier League goals also came in home matches, against Leeds United and Sheffield United.
